Air Therapy

Air Theropy
Air is one of the most essential elements for the survival of human being. One can survive without food or water but it is impossible to survive even for a minute or two without air. Oxygen, the most important element required by body is present in the air that surrounds us. It is the primary fuel of our body. The main source of oxygen on earth is photosynthesis by vegetation like trees, shrubs and other green plants. It purifies our blood and activates the cell of our body. Plants take up carbon dioxide from the air for their nutrition and growth and in turn release oxygen into the air.
It has been observed these days that many people adopt a wrong way of breathing. A deep breath, expanding the chest ensures a high quantity of oxygen inhaled. Hence it is essential and of great medicinal value to walk in open spaces covered with greenery and take deep breath to ventilate the lungs. The cool breeze of early morning being fresh, pure and rich in oxygen fills the mind with cheer. Oxygen helps to increase the body resistance and body becomes strong and attractive. One should always breathe through the nose. The air while passing through the nasal passage becomes warm and has a salutary effect on the lungs. Our nostrils have minute hairs, which serve the purpose of filter that removes the fine dust particles from the air. One thing should be carefully noted that face should not be covered while sleeping.
